Higher Education and Careers
A Physics course prepares candidates to progress into further or higher education, to follow courses in physics, engineering, astronomy, IT subjects, medicine, one of the other sciences or related subjects, or to enter employment where knowledge of physics would be useful. Physics complements the study of maths. Study of AS or Advanced GCE physics should also be seen as making a contribution towards life-long learning.
