Feast of the Epiphany

At the beginning of the school term, the school celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany, also known as Three Kings’ Day. This important feast in the Christian calendar marks the revelation of Jesus Christ to the wider world and is traditionally celebrated twelve days after Christmas.

The feast recalls the journey of the Magi - also known as the Three Kings or the Wise Men - who followed a guiding star to Bethlehem. Their visit symbolises the recognition of Jesus not only by the people of Israel, but by all nations, as they honoured him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

The occasion was marked with special Masses led by Father Philip and Father Christian, during which together, we remembered the moment when the star led the Magi to the baby Jesus, celebrating the message of Epiphany: that Christ came for everyone
