Duke of Edinburgh Success

Congratulations to the following Year 10 and 11 students for achieving their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.

To achieve the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, students must complete a set of activities over a period of time that help develop skills, confidence, and independence. For the Bronze Award, students complete four sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and an Expedition. One section must be completed for six months, while the other two are completed for three months, alongside planning, training for, and completing a two-day expedition.

For the Silver Award, students complete Volunteering for six months and either the Physical or Skills section for six months, with the remaining section completed for three months. In addition, students must take part in a three-day expedition.

This is such an incredible achievement and a fantastic addition to any student's cv. We are so proud of you all - well done everyone.
