Monday 29 September 2025 Year 5 Retreats The Year 5 students from St Ignatius Catholic Primary School had a wonderful day at St Paul's yesterday during their retreat, which centred around discovering their God-given talents. The students were enthusiastic, engaged, and fully participated in all the activities. It was a joy to work with them, and they were a credit to their school.

Monday 22 September 2025 Year 8 Retreats This year's Year 8 retreats were truly special, held at the Sunbury Methodist Church. Pupils were invited to reflect deeply on the theme: God loves us and calls us by name. Throughout the retreat, students engaged in heartfelt discussions and shared personal reflections on what it means to be loved by God. It was a beautiful opportunity for spiritual growth and connection.

Thursday 21 August 2025 GCSE Results Day 2025 We are over the moon with our best GCSE results ever! Our students’ hard work, dedication, and perseverance in their studies have paid off and we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved. This year, 30% of all GCSEs awarded were graded at 8 - 9, with 46% of students achieving grades 7–9, and 75% securing a grade 5+ in both English and Maths.

Thursday 14 August 2025 A Level/BTEC Results 2025 We are incredibly proud to share the outstanding achievements of our Year 13 students in this year’s A Level and BTEC examinations with pupils achieving 85% A* - C at A Level and 100% Distinction* - Merit at BTEC.

Wednesday 30 July 2025 St Paul's Feast Day Feast Day this year, held in conjunction with the Solemnity of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, was celebrated with a whole school Mass in the Manor House gardens. We were honoured to have three priests; Father Mike from St Lawrence's, Governor Priest - Father Philip, Father Christian from our Sunbury parish as well as Deacon Duncan Macpherson from St Theodore's in Hampton, all to celebrate this most special of Masses.

Tuesday 6 May 2025 Year 7 Introduction to Careers in Law This week, Year 7 were introduced to careers in law during their assembly. The session included an overview of the landmark case Donoghue v Stevenson, which helped shape the modern law of negligence and established the concept of duty of care. We would like to extend our thanks to Alison Purves, a visiting lecturer at the University of Law and former litigation lawyer, for joining us at St Paul’s to deliver this insightful presentation to our students.

Monday 24 March 2025 Music Concert Our annual Music Concert was a resounding success last night, providing students with the opportunity to display their musical talents.

Wednesday 12 March 2025 London School of Economics (LSE) Startup Competition St Paul’s Catholic College was delighted to host the London School of Economics (LSE) Startup Competition last Friday; the first time the event has been held here at the school. Representatives from eight different startup companies, who were all alumni of LSE, came along to pitch their business ideas. Three judges or ‘dragons’ came to listen to the pitches, ask questions and give feedback. Twenty-four of our pupils from across Years 8 to 13 were chosen to take part in the event by watching and grilling the entrepreneurs themselves. The winning company, Harvest Value Chain, (who support farmers in Nigeria to harvest their crops more efficiently) was awarded a £6,000 grant from LSE and coaching for their business. Our students got to vote for the startup they thought was the best, which resulted in the drinks brand Dosha being awarded a £2000 grant from LSE. Thursday 24 October 2024 Harvest Foodbank Donation St Paul's delivered its Harvest Collection to the Foodbank at St Saviour's Church at the end of October, and what a collection it was! Each year we are blown away with your generosity, but this year, well there are no words. Your donations took up the whole of our chapel and we needed 3 minibuses to deliver the food! We cannot thank you enough - staff, students, parents/carers and the Pavilion Nursery. It will make such a difference to those in need in our local community.

Monday 21 October 2024 Year 7 Mass Students and staff celebrated the Year 7 Mass led by Father Philip at St Ignatius Church at the end of October. The theme of the service was that of the Year 7 retreats ‘Friendship and Belonging’ and was a lovely gathering which saw all the gifts and talents of our new pupils shared in their readings, altar serving, choir singing and thoughtful bidding prayers.

Thursday 13 June 2024 Careers Fair St Paul’s held its annual Careers Fair this week for year groups 10 and 12. This is always a popular event with many representatives from the public and private sectors in attendance, including ex-students and parents who came along to represent their employers. It was wonderful to see the St Paul’s community coming together for this event. Each pupil had the opportunity to talk to employers and further education institutions, all offering invaluable advice and information on the various pathways available to them. A huge thank you to everyone to who gave their time to speak to our students.
