Spelthorne Youth Awards

On Friday 19^th April 2024, Mrs O’Farrell and Mr Charalambous attended the Spelthorne Youth Awards 2024 at Kempton Park Racecourse.  From the hundreds of students nominated within the Borough, we are delighted to announce that the following pupils from St Paul’s Catholic College were successful in winning awards in the following categories:  

• Grace G (Year 10C) – ‘Arts Achievement (incl. Performing Arts).’

• Samantha R-F (Year 10R) – ‘Outstanding Academic Achievement.’

• Amaan H (Year 13T) – ‘Outstanding Academic Achievement.’

• Sarah C (Year 13T) – ‘Triumph over Adversity.’

During the evening, The Mayor of Spelthorne, Cllr Denise Saliagopoulous, celebrated the success of our young people commenting; "The Spelthorne Youth Awards are about recognising and celebrating inspirational young people within our wonderful Borough. These special young people have excelled in a particular field, made a big difference to their local community, overcome very challenging circumstances or shown exceptional personal qualities.”
