Rotary Youth Speaks

A team from St Paul’s Catholic College took part in the Rotary Youth Speaks Senior Competition, hosted by Shepperton Aurora Rotary Club on 24th January. The Year 12 students had the wonderful opportunity of speaking in the Spelthorne Council Chamber, and debating the important topic of free healthcare and the future of the NHS.

The team all spoke eloquently and impressed the judges with their preparation and poise. Congratulations especially to Marianna, who won the trophy for Best Opposition Speaker, and Zofia, who won Best Chairperson. We are very proud of our speakers’ achievements!
