GCSE Results 2020
As you will be aware this is a GCSE results day like no other for students who were not given the chance to show what they may have achieved via the process of their final GCSE exams. This year’s process has been very different but we now have clarity that the GCSE grades students receive will be the centre assessed grades submitted by schools to Ofqual .
Normally at this time schools would share with you school performance data, including pass rates and subject performance measures. This year however The Spelthorne Secondary Schools are in agreement that due to these unusual circumstances it is not the right time for us to share this data and our combined focus should be on the community of young people we serve.
Well done to all our students. Notable acheivemennts from the following pupils:
Anastasia S – 9 Grade 9s and 1 Grade 8
Justyna M – 9 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s.
Josh V – 8 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s
Natalya H – 7 Grade 9s and 3 Grade 8s
Andre F – 6 Grade 9s, 2 Grade 8s and 2 Grade 7s
Nathaniel D – 5 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s and 2 Grade 7s
Kirstin H – 5 Grade 9s, 2 Grade 8s and 3 Grade 7s
We are very pleased that our students now have the grades that gives them the opportunity to enrol on the courses and apprenticeships their hard work deserved.
