A Level Field Studies

A Level Biology students visited Juniper Hall Field Studies Centre to carry out Ecology field work recently. Students conducted transects to see if the trampling on the footpaths had an effect on the species richness, as well as measuring factors like soil depth and temperature, and took time to do some botanical drawing. Scientific reports from their investigations will count towards their A-level practical work.
