St Paul's Catholic College Providing Education For The Diocese Of Westminster
Year 11 Exam Mass
On Friday 11th May, Year 11 celebrated their Exam Mass at St Ignatius Church, where together they offered prayers and thanksgiving for their time at St Pauls.
It was a very uplifting celebration presided over by Fr Michael Tuck. Sr Liza eloquently led the year group in quiet meditation from St Matthew & St Mark’s Gospels and highlighted Jesus' command to the storm to ‘Be Calm’ during this stressful and uncertain time. At the end of the celebration, Tara and Nabeel (Head Boy & Head Girl) gave thanks to their tutors and teachers who have supported and guided them through their time at St Paul’s over the last 5 years. Mr Mc Nulty spoke of his pride in each individual and the desire he has for them to do the best they can achieve in their exams. Their Head of Year, Miss Jones, gave thanks to all staff for their support of the year group and reiterated Mr Mc Nulty’s encouraging words.
After the Mass, a reception was held for the students in the Loyola Centre where the traditional signing of shirts was upheld. We wish Year 11 all the very best throughout the exam period. We are very proud of them for all their commitment and hard work and we continue to think and pray for them over the coming weeks.
