St Paul's Catholic College Providing Education For The Diocese Of Westminster
The splattering of rain on Friday 9th March didn’t dampen the spirits of the staff and students of St Paul’s on their Sponsored Walk around Sunbury and Kempton Park, which this year is in aid of CAFOD, who supports malnourished children in Africa and helps families who have become refugees across the world. This fundraising event is one of the highlights of the school calendar and everyone always throws themselves wholeheartedly into raising money for the school’s nominated charity. Staff and students can wear their own clothes on the walk but many do like to dress-up and this year was no different. If you were out in the local area on that day you would have seen Professor Gru and his minions, a T Rex, Pink Ladies, bananas, a scarecrow, an array of onesies and many more. As well as the Sponsored Walk, other fundraising events are being held around the school to raise as much money as possible. We are now well on the way to reaching our target of £12,500 which during the period of Lent is being government matched. We would like to thank everyone for their support.
