Ski Trip 2019
Over the Easter break, a group of students and staff headed off to Pila, Italy for this year’s skiing trip. The sun made an appearance for the most of the week and skiing conditions were really good as the Thursday before we departed there was heavy snowfall in and around the resort. Our party contained a mixture of abilities with students and staff ranging from Levels 1-5. Miss Daniel joined the beginners and nicknamed them the 'Penguins' but by the end of the week they had all reached Level 1 with some, including Miss Daniel, reaching Level 2. Every group showed amazing progression with a number of them hitting the hardest 'Black’ slopes. Après ski activities included bowling, a disco night, a pizza night as well as an afternoon sampling Italian ice cream and a bit of shopping. Throughout the week, students showed great determination and resilience and were fantastic ambassadors for school. Only 365 days to go to the next one!
