St Paul's Catholic College Providing Education For The Diocese Of Westminster
RE Judaism Trip
The Year 8 pupils had an opportunity to partake in the RE Judaism trip recently which included visits to the Central Synagogue and Jewish Museum in London. The first stop was the Synagogue. The pupils were excited as they had the opportunity to see all they have been learning about in Judaism this term and had lots of questions for our tour guide. Next stop, the Jewish Museum where we had lunch before being introduced to the itinerary. The students were split into 2 groups. The first group had an interactive session handling objects specific to Jewish faith and worship, whilst the second group had a tour of the exhibitions on the history of the Jewish people in the UK. The groups were then switched so everyone had the opportunity to experience the session they did not participate in. The students truly made us proud with their subject knowledge, contribution and behaviour. After a short stop in the souvenir shop, we were back off to St Paul’s with some lovely memories of a great day.
