My name is Cathy Hobday and I am a Foundation Governor and also the Chair of Governors. I have worked in Catholic education all my working life and I am committed to all pupils realising their full potential. I decided to become a governor at St Paul's as I have a tremendous interest in the school. I visit the school regularly and do everything I can to secure the best outcomes for our pupils.

With a career in finance, fundraising and development for a number of charities, I am currently the Bursar of Marymount International School, a Catholic Day and Boarding School for girls, which is located in Kingston upon Thames.
I have been a Foundation Governor at St Paul's Catholic College since 2009. It is great to see the progress the School has made over the years and feel privileged to be on the Governing Body.
I believe passionately in providing education of the highest standard and therefore happy to commit my time and experience to support the School.
As Chair of Resources my role is to work with other governors and staff to manage resources and provide strategic direction, mindful of the Catholic ethos and objective to deliver the best possible education for all students to progress and perform.

I worked in Special Education for 20+ years, firstly as a teacher and then as Additional Support Manager, the equivalent of a SENCO, in a Further Education College. When I retired I worked as a Teaching Assistant in a Secondary School for 3 years.
When I retired fully, I decided to become a Governor as I wished to still be involved in Education, in a voluntary capacity.
I support the school as a Governor by chairing the Spiritual Life Committee and by being a Link Governor for Child Protection and Special Needs.
I use my expertise with Special Needs to support the work of the SEN department and also I am Link for Admissions.

I am Parish Priest of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Staines and also a governor at Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School. I see the partnership between school, parish, and home as key to nurturing a caring and effective community in our local area.
I am happy to serve this very special and wonderful school as a governor, as I believe that a thriving and successful secondary school is a crucial part of our community, sharing our Christian mission and educating our young people.

I am a Staff Governor who previously worked with in the pre-cast construction industry, with responsibilities ranging from factory management, maintenance, production and all other factory/office operations.
I wanted to use my experience gained from previous employment to help the college progress.
I ask and seek relevant information and act upon this to the benefit of the students, while supporting the Headteacher , the leadership team and all members of staff.

I was delighted to become a Foundation Governor in 2015 and am committed to supporting the school, its staff and students to continue to deliver excellence.
My background is in the investment, development and operation of the built environment (including schools) and my current focus is property strategy and estate transformation.
As a governor I support the Finance and Resource Committee, Spiritual Life Committee and School Management and Behaviour Committee.

I have worked in further and higher education for the last 15 years as a specialist teacher and assessor for dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and Asperger Syndrome. I am currently employed as a disability adviser in a university offering advice and guidance to disabled students.
Being a governor at St Paul's has enabled me to broaden my knowledge of education and to understand the essential role that secondary education plays in enabling students to progress further with their studies and into employment.
I am incredibly proud of the staff and students at St Paul's and the tremendous progress that the school has made in raising achievement for all students.
As Chair of Teaching & Learning and Staffing & Welfare my role is to review the quality of teaching within the school and to monitor the progress of all students; to review staffing, the appraisal process and teacher performance.

I have worked in Education in Inner London schools for thirty five years. I began my career as a Drama Teacher but for the past twenty years have worked with students with additional needs as a special needs teacher and a SENCo. I retired from full time teaching three years ago and since then have worked part time in a SEN consultancy role in a school transferring to Academy Status and advising on the development of an Inclusion Department in a Pupil Referral Unit.
Having fully retired I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with the team of Governors at St Pauls College and I hope to be able to support the students, teachers and leadership team in any way that I can.

I am a qualified Civil Engineer with over 25 years' experience within the construction industry, largely focussing on the built environment in support of national infrastructure with responsibilities including construction management, engineering integrity, commercial and budget controls, procurement and competitive tendering and health and safety.
I have also previously taken a training role in behavioural management for improved performance.
I currently have two children at St Pauls and anticipate my two younger children entering the school in 2020, and I am therefore dedicated to supporting the ongoing development and improvement of St Pauls.

|Claire Cowdrey||Parent||Foundation||My name is Claire Cowdery and I was appointed Foundation Governor at St Paul's in January 2017. I have many years experience in education. I have been a teacher at St Lawrence's RC Primary School in Feltham for 16 years and I have also taught in the London Boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham and Tower Hamlets. I currently teach Year 1 but spent around 20 years teaching KS2. I am also RE and Worship Co-ordinator. My Parish is St Lawrence's in Feltham where I am a Eucharistic Minister. I have 2 children, one of whom is in Year 8 at St Paul's, the other is in Year 6 in St Lawrence's. I am looking forward to serving the pupils and staff of St Paul's as a Governor over the next four years.|
