My name is Cathy Hobday and I am a Foundation Governor and also the Chair of Governors. I have worked in Catholic education all my working life and I am committed to all pupils realising their full potential. I decided to become a governor at St Paul's as I have a tremendous interest in the school. I visit the school regularly and do everything I can to secure the best outcomes for our pupils.
With a career in finance, fundraising and development for a number of charities, I am currently the Bursar of Marymount International School, a Catholic Day and Boarding School for girls, which is located in Kingston upon Thames.
I have been a Foundation Governor at St Paul's Catholic College since 2009. It is great to see the progress the School has made over the years and feel privileged to be on the Governing Body.
I believe passionately in providing education of the highest standard and therefore happy to commit my time and experience to support the School.
As Chair of Resources my role is to work with other governors and staff to manage resources and provide strategic direction, mindful of the Catholic ethos and objective to deliver the best possible education for all students to progress and perform.

I worked in Special Education for 20+ years, firstly as a teacher and then as Additional Support Manager, the equivalent of a SENCO, in a Further Education College. When I retired I worked as a Teaching Assistant in a Secondary School for 3 years'
When I retired fully, I decided to become a Governor as I wished to still be involved in Education, in a voluntary capacity.
I support the school as a Governor by chairing the Spiritual Life Committee and by being a Link Governor for Child Protection and Special Needs.

My name is Ciaran Murphy and I am the Local Authority Governor nominated by Surrey County Council.
I am an economist by academic training, but have spent the last 19 years working as a compliance officer at various investment banks in London (and two years in New York). Although my skills and experience naturally fit the work of the Finance Committee, I have a long-standing interest in education, not least because my father taught at Catholic secondary schools in London for most of his career.

I am a Staff Governor who previously worked with in the pre-cast construction industry, with responsibilities ranging from factory management, maintenance, production and all other factory/office operations.
I wanted to use my experience gained from previous employment to help the college progress.
I ask and seek relevant information and act upon this to the benefit of the students, while supporting the Headteacher , the leadership team and all members of staff.
I was delighted to become a Foundation Governor in 2015 and am committed to supporting the school, its staff and students to continue to deliver excellence. My background is in the investment, development and operation of the built environment (including schools) and my current focus is property strategy and estate transformation. As a governor I support the Finance and Resource Committee, Spiritual Life Committee and School Management and Behaviour Committee.

I am a parent governor with two children in the school.
I have worked for an airline for 28 years in various roles. I have lots of experience in customer services, recruiting, writing training packages and delivering them and also running various projects.
I sit on the staff and welfare and teaching and learning committee.
I became a parent governor as I wanted to learn more about what goes into running a school and if there was anyway that I could help as I believe every child should have the best education that they can to enable them to have the best future possible.
I am delighted to get the opportunity to be a parent governor and look forward to working with the wonderful team at St Paul's.
I am lucky enough to have two children at the school.
I have a background in nursing as well as education and hope my experience will hold me in good stead to help support the students, staff and parents within this lovely school.

I am a Sister of Mercy, and currently Headmistress of St Catherine's School, Twickenham. I have over 30 years' experience in the field of education, both as a teacher of Maths and as a Head of Department, Head of Year, Deputy Head and Head. I have been a school governor for 10 years and an inspector for ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate).
I am Fr Chris Vipers, a Foundation Governor and Parish Priest of St Lawrence's in Feltham and the Episcopal Vicar in West London. As well as offering pastoral and spiritual support to the staff and students of St Paul's in any way I can I help in the development of the Catholic life and ethos of the School and our partnership and collaboration with local parishes and churches. I believe in St Paul's and am proud to be part of the Governing Body.

I am a parent governor - my son left St Paul's last year. For the last 15 years I have worked as a specialist teacher and assessor for dyslexia and Asperger syndrome in both further and higher education. I currently work in the disability and dyslexia service in a university where I provide 1:1 academic support for students.
I wanted to develop a broader knowledge of education and recognised the important role that secondary education plays in enabling students to progress further with their studies, so I volunteered to become a governor at St Paul's in 2009 and am incredibly proud of the progress the school has made over this time.
As Chair of the Teaching & Learning committee my role is to review the quality of teaching within the school and to monitor the progress of all students.
I have been in the post of Clerk to the Governors since September 2014. My role requires me to provide advice to the Governing Body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters, as well as giving administrative support during all Governing Body and Committee meetings.
